In the historical records of Quinta da Vacaria, there is a phrase that has been passed down through the generations: ‘It lay 16 leagues from this city’, referring to the distance to Porto. From this phrase springs a name steeped in history: 16Legoas, which today inspires the identity of our restaurant in the heart of Torel Quinta da Vacaria – Douro Valley.
